Interns support the successful execution of projects, lead generations (sales activities), and daily process work for SCB’s Carbon Advisory Desk. This combination of project and process work allows interns to research a section of the industry to conclusion and engage in the day to day running of the business. Projects vary and can include generating leads, preparing presentations, analysing data, and conducting market research. Responsibilities may include:

As market professionals, we promote the adoption of low carbon alternatives by reducing the frictional cost of low carbon practices. Working closely with corporate clients on their sustainability challenges, we assist them in calculating their emissions, setting objectives, finding market solutions, and implementing best practices to reduce or eliminate their emissions. Additionally, we help them report on their sustainability efforts and develop bespoke solutions to compensate for unavoidable and residual emissions, addressing climate change goals and meeting Net Zero commitments.
