The RIASEC test, also called the Holland Code test, comes from psychologist John Holland's theory that work interests fall into six broad areas: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. The first letters spell RIASEC.
Almost no one is a single type. Your strongest three areas combine into a Holland Code, such as IAS or ESC, and that code is what career guidance systems use to match people to occupations. The U.S. Department of Labor's O*NET database tags thousands of jobs with their RIASEC codes.
This version uses 60 questions, ten per area, which gives a more stable result than the short four-question versions you often see. You get every area scored, your code, and a ranked list of matching careers, all free and on one page.

Many RIASEC tests online are either very short, which makes the result wobbly, or they gate your real Holland Code behind a payment or a signup. This one is the full 60-item length and shows everything for free.
Because it is interest-based, the RIASEC test is best used for exploration. Two people with the same code can end up in very different jobs. Treat your matches as a map of fields worth investigating, not a single destination.
