Swiss Himmel GmbH is looking for a Senior Telecom Transformation & Delivery Manager for a full-time position in Basel, Switzerland. We are looking for an experienced telecom professional who has progressed from a technical background into delivery and transformation leadership, with strong experience across OSS/BSS, CRM, order management, billing, mediation, service fulfillment, and service assurance. The role is suited for an experienced telecom professional who has progressed from a technical background into delivery and transformation leadership. You will take end-to-end responsibility for complex programs covering customer order management, CRM, billing, mediation, service fulfillment, service assurance, digital channels, and application transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, manage large delivery teams, oversee vendors and partners, and ensure that transformation programs are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality, and commercial targets.
01Lead large-scale telecom transformation programs from planning through implementation and transition.
02Own end-to-end delivery across OSS, BSS, CRM, billing, mediation, order management, and service assurance platforms.
03Lead modernization of legacy telecom applications and transition them towards strategic platforms and microservices.
04Manage complex application transformation, migration, upgrade, and transition programs.
05Define program scope, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
06Drive transformation initiatives across telecom CRM, customer order management, product catalogue, billing, mediation, and service fulfillment.
07Work with telecom order orchestration and service fulfillment processes across fixed and mobile services.
08Support transformation programs covering Copper, Fiber, Mobile, Voice, TV, Wi-Fi and related customer services.
09Work with platforms and products such as Amdocs, Kenan Arbor, Infonova, Pega, Camunda and other COTS solutions.
10Support integration between customer-facing channels, order management, fulfillment, billing, and downstream systems.
11Drive improvements in service assurance, monitoring, automation, and operational processes.
12Lead application development, application support, infrastructure transition, and managed service programs.
13Manage transition activities across multiple vendors and delivery teams.
14Establish governance structures for large transformation and managed service programs.
15Ensure effective handover, operational readiness, production support, and service stability.
16Manage application maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and recovery activities.
17Track SLAs, KPIs, service quality, delivery milestones, and operational performance.
18Lead large, multi-disciplinary teams across different locations and countries.
19Work directly with senior directors, business heads, technology leaders, and client stakeholders.
20Manage internal teams, external partners, vendors, and offshore/onshore delivery units.
21Mentor delivery managers and technical teams and support capability development.
22Conduct governance meetings, steering committees, status reviews, and transformation workshops.
23Manage stakeholder expectations, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
24Take ownership of commercial and contractual aspects of major client accounts.
25Manage P&L, resource planning, staffing, SLAs, and delivery commitments.
