Aufgaben Conduct performance diagnostics for swimming and other aquatic sports: manage and apply video analysis and force measurement systems (particularly in swimming, but also in diving, water polo, and artistic swimming); develop and implement standardized test protocols and progress assessments Maintain technical equipment: Prepare and operate the swim channel, video analysis, and force measurement systems; check, calibrate, and evaluate measurement systems; provide first-level support Support training activities: Offer, conduct, and evaluate testing procedures on-site; communicate with athletes and coaches Ensure data management and data protection: Process, structure, and store personal, performance, video, and research data in compliance with legal requirements Collaborate across disciplines: Serve as an interface between national and international federations as well as sports science institutions
The Federal Office of Sport (FOSPO) promotes sport and its values – for all age groups and levels of performance. FOSPO combines sports policy, sports promotion and training: this includes the largest Swiss sports promotion programme, Youth+Sport, and the training centres in Magglingen and Tenero. The Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglingen (SFISM) is the only Swiss university to dedicated to training, development, research and services in the field of sport.
