Join Our Team as Financial Accountant! At Julius Baer, we are committed to excellence in wealth management. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing accounting activities for both domestic and international entities, contributing directly to the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations.
01Manage accounting and financial reporting for Bank Julius Baer and affiliated domestic and international entities
02Prepare monthly financial statements and business reports, including VAT returns in accordance with local regulations
03Ensure compliance with internal control systems (ICS)
04Contribute to the implementation of internal and external accounting regulations (including IFRS)
05Perform analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement positions
06Prepare group (IFRS) and local statutory reporting
07Collaborate cross-functionally with Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT, and Payroll
08Support corporate activities such as entity setup, acquisitions, and liquidations
09Drive process improvements and support SAP-related initiatives (R/3, S/4HANA)
10Provide technical accounting support and troubleshooting across international teams
11Participate in system and process testing for accounting applications
Exigences
↳Swiss Certified Accountant or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
↳Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally within banking or financial services
↳Strong knowledge of IFRS
↳Experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA is an advantage
↳Proficient in MS Office
↳Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
↳Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
↳Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
