01* Develop theoretical models to describe the atomic and electronic structure of altermagnetic materials as measured in photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS, ARPES) and scanning probe microscopy STM (computational focus)
02* Maintain and develop computational tools in collaboration with the team
03* Collaborate with experimental and theoretical partners
04* Assist other team members performing experiments at the SLS and other light sources
05* Participate in the international scientific community by presenting your results at international conferences and publish them in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Exigences
↳* PhD degree in physics or a related field
↳* Strong expertise in theoretical modeling of condensed matter systems and their surfaces
↳* Strong computing skills including programming and experience with high-performance computing
↳* Successful first author publications
↳* Fluent in both written and spoken English
