04Swiss Himmel GmbH is looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer – DevOps & Cloud to join a mission-critical program supporting core banking and pension platforms. The role combines hands-on Java and full-stack development with cloud, DevOps, database, and AI-assisted engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience owning complex applications from design and development through deployment and production, preferably within regulated banking, financial services, or pension environments.
01Software Development & Architecture
02Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
03Develop secure RESTful APIs for enterprise banking and pension platforms.
04Build and maintain modern web applications using Angular and/or React.
05Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards, and solution design.
06Develop scalable and maintainable solutions for business-critical applications.
07Cloud & DevOps
08Design and manage CI/CD pipelines covering automated build, testing, and deployment.
09Work with Docker and Kubernetes across OpenShift and AKS environments.
10Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
11Support cloud-native deployments across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
12Contribute to production stability, deployment automation, and operational improvements.
13Data & Integration
14Design and optimize data solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, Hibernate, and JPA.
15Perform database performance tuning and production troubleshooting.
16Work with Oracle RAC and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
17Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka.
18Support large-scale data migration and business-data reconciliation initiatives using Kafka and Spring Batch.
19AI-Augmented Engineering
20Integrate LLM/GPT APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic into applications and engineering workflows.
21Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT to support development, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
22Use Python for automation, scripting, and AI-tool integration.
23Apply prompt engineering and AI-assisted practices across the software development lifecycle.

25Support technology solutions within regulated banking and pension environments.
