Hourly paid position with the option of extension after one year.
In this role, you are responsible for looking after our guests and supervising the exhibitions. As the first point of contact, you inform visitors about the institution and the current exhibitions and, if necessary, convey selected exhibition content. You also welcome groups and conduct short introductions. You monitor and check the exhibits and ensure supervision in the exhibition rooms. Your duties also include the technical operation of audiovisual equipment and interactive media. With your service-oriented, attentive, and responsible manner, you contribute significantly to a positive visitor experience and ensure compliance with the house rules.
The Museum of Design Zurich is the leading Swiss museum for design and visual communication. Its collection unites over half a million objects from graphic and design history and is of international significance. As part of the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK, the museum is engaged in research and teaching and regularly realises its own exhibitions and publications.
