What You Will Do

You will be responsible for:

Negotiating and closing trades physical and derivative trades on behalf of properly qualified counterparties.
Prospecting for new clients.
Maintaining relationships with existing clients and identifying further trade opportunities for them.
Developing new opportunities for SCB in properly qualified low carbon commodity markets.
Actively engaging with operation, legal and compliance departments and ensuring thorough risk management, trade execution, post-trade discipline and overall quality control in line with SCB guidelines.

Anforderungen

A degree in environmental studies, commodities, energy economics, business or relevant work experience.
A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in a business-to-business role, preferably as a commodity sales trader or in the brokerage industry.
Fluency in English, any other language skills would be beneficial.
Have relevant knowledge of environmental commodity markets and be able to demonstrate this expertise.
Be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Possess strong technology skills.
Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be a team player.
