03For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Geneva a dynamic and motivated Power Electronics R&D Engineer.
01* Investigate emerging power electronics technologies for railway, DC microgrid,
02* industrial, energy, and advanced electrification applications.
03* Support feasibility studies, proof-of-concept developments, and innovation
04* projects.
05* Develop simulation models and test methodologies.
06* Identify opportunities for performance improvements and cost optimization.
07* Contribute to intellectual property generation and technology roadmaps.
08* Support Business Development in identifying new applications for fast-switching
09* circuit breakers and defining the corresponding product requirements.
10* Define and evaluate power semiconductor devices and converter topologies.
11* Perform simulations of switching behavior, losses, thermal performance, and
12* fault scenarios for different topologies.
13* Support hardware development, laboratory validation, and technology
14* demonstrators.
15* Contribute to design reviews, technical documentation, validation and project milestones.
16* Support development and improvement of existing HSCB and fast DC protection
17* products.
18* Analyze field issues and propose technical solutions.
19* Cooperate with mechanical, thermal, system, and test engineers.
20* Support industrialization and product maintenance activities when required.
21* Support the development and maintenance of HSCB electronic hardware, software, Eco-Drive, and coil controller solutions.
