What it's about Partners Group is seeking an experienced senior investment funds lawyer to join our private markets structuring team in Zug, Switzerland. This is a senior fund formation role with three core responsibilities: owning, drafting, developing and maintaining legal fund formation templates and documentation standards used across the business globally drafting, reviewing and negotiating fund formation and separate account documentation for live transactions; and training, supervising/overseeing and developing junior lawyers in fund formation drafting, negotiation and execution The role is focused on private markets offerings for a global investor base. We are open to candidates with a European market focus, provided they are comfortable advising on fund formation matters in an international context and identifying, managing and coordinating the legal and regulatory issues relevant to globally offered products. You will work closely with client relationship management, investment, operations, tax, compliance and other legal colleagues, as well as with external counsel and service providers, to support the design, formation, documentation and execution of commingled funds and separate managed accounts / mandates.
