You coach frontend and backend engineers so they can monitor their own code in production. You steer architecture discussions, weighing trade-offs as well as cost and security implications. You manage, monitor and scale the infrastructure - from the clusters the services run on to the hardware behind the models. You maintain thorough documentation of deployments, processes and tooling. You ensure reliability, availability and performance, and you share on-call duty with the team.
