Description

Act as steam turbine specialist during erection, commissioning, and operation Supervise and support ST installation, alignment, start-up, and commissioning on EPC projects Review and validate technical/tender documentation related to ST systems Support O&M teams and train personnel on ST operation and maintenance Identify faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions on ST equipment Coordinate with Engineering and drive improvements through lessons learned Prepare technical reports, work plans, and contribute to project scheduling Ensure HSE compliance and manage ST-related risks and deviations

Responsibilities

Act as steam turbine specialist during erection, commissioning, and operation
Supervise and support ST installation, alignment, start-up, and commissioning on EPC projects
Review and validate technical/tender documentation related to ST systems
Support O&M teams and train personnel on ST operation and maintenance
Identify faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions on ST equipment
Coordinate with Engineering and drive improvements through lessons learned
Prepare technical reports, work plans, and contribute to project scheduling
Ensure HSE compliance and manage ST-related risks and deviations

Requirements

Engineering degree with 10+ years’ hands-on experience in steam turbine installation, commissioning, and operation
Proven site experience with steam turbine erection and commissioning activities
Strong knowledge of steam turbine technologies, control systems, and thermal plant operation
Familiarity with major ST OEMs (e.g. Siemens, Skoda) and turbine types (condensing, back-pressure)
Expertise in DCS, PID (R&I), vibration analysis, and rotating equipment behavior
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability for ST systems
Fluent in English with strong communication and coordination skills
Reliable, adaptable team player able to work independently and with suppliers
