SOVAG (Sonderabfallverwertungs-AG) is a Swiss subsidiary of the Veolia Group that specializes in the management, collection, and disposal of special and hazardous waste. Within this entity, the VIE will be a business partner of operations, working closely with the CFO, accounting and invoicing teams. The VIE will be based in Basel, with occasional travels to other sites (mainly the region of Luzern). His/her main responsibilities will be as follows: Perform analysis of monthly financial performance and explain the main variances versus last year and budget. Support to develop dashboard and KPIs, for both finance and operations. Ensure monthly reporting to the Veolia Group and associated analysis. Support follow-up of Capex. Participate in the improvement of finance processes and formalisation of procedures. Work on ad-hoc missions with CFO.
