Beschreibung

We are looking for an IT Senior System Specialist to maintain and improve our Guest processes, Onboard platforms and their integrated systems. He/She will take care of our Onboard platform in Data Configuration, Operational Reporting, Analysis, Troubleshooting and Support for onboard business such as: Onboard Finance, Shorex, Guest, Crew, Safety, Security, Housekeeping, F&B, SPA, etc. The Senior System Specialist oversees and maintains production and testing systems; schedules legacy systems operations; monitors output and report distribution, performs a variety of tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility collaborating with Corporate, Managers and other IT Specialists.

Aufgaben

Analysis and elicitation of functional and non-functional requirements for Onboard platforms and their integrated systems.
Gives support in planning, managing and delivering Onboard platforms and their integrated systems.
Gives support in defining solutions aligned to business requirements.
Ensure and overseeing all systems setting activities related to new buildings operations.
Supports business for the updating, testing and measurement of the products evolution added to the systems.
Set ups and update the PMS onboard through a steady maintenance interdepartmentally.
Provides assistance and advice to the on-board departments involved in PMS settings.

Anforderungen

Experience in Cruise Industry (focus on Hotel Operations).
At least 3 years- hands-on experience in similar roles or equivalent experiences with IT Applications for Cruise Lines.
Working knowledges of onboard PMS Systems and Ship Warehouse process.
Oracle, SQL/MySQL database Language skills.
Knowledge of programming languages for operational reporting (e.g., JasperReports).
Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript or similar) is a plus.
Knowledge of Automation and Reporting Tools (PowerAutomate, PowerBi, PowerApp) is a plus.
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Good inter-personal and communication skills.
Good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
Availability to travel and outside region residencies.
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent).
Fluent English and Italian.
