The primary responsibilities and deliverables associated with this position include:

Support dd4gh or Africa-based initiatives and extension of AI modelling into novel areas for MMV
Generate then deploy and support new predictive drug discovery models for application in MMV drug discovery projects
Clearly communicate results to internal stakeholders and external partners through project reports, presentations and peer reviewed research publications
Contribute to due diligence activities to select new AI partners
Gain experience in drug discovery

Anforderungen

↳Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

↳Demonstrated scientific excellence as measured by publications and presentations

↳Familiarity with drug discovery and the clinical development process is an asset

↳Experience working in a cross-functional matrix setting is also an asset

↳Expertise in data analysis, developing or implementing advanced state of the art drug discovery AI/ML methods.

↳Fluency in English (oral and written)

↳Familiar with general AI/ML software, such as python and AI frameworks such as pytorch, Datawarrior, stardrop or equivalent
