Postdoctoral Fellow for particle physics research on the CMS experiment
In close cooperation with scientists, students, and technicians at PSI as well as with collaborating groups you will:
01* Take a leading role in the assembly, testing and qualification of pixel detector modules for the CMS TEPX detector
02* Contribute to the integration of the TEPX detector
03* Contribute to service work within the CMS collaboration
04* Present the results of your work at conferences and in publications
Anforderungen
↳* You have a PhD degree in experimental particle physics
↳* You have demonstrated experience in detector testing and qualification and strong software skills
↳* Experience in data-analysis at a particle physics experiment is an asset
↳* You have proficient language skills in English and good communication skills
↳* You are motivated and independent, strive to contribute with new ideas and like to work in international collaborations
