Your position We are looking for a scholar able to represent Ibero-Romance and General Literature in teaching and research across the entire field, demonstrating an appropriate range and theoretical-methodological diversity. Preference will be given to applicants whose profile takes into account the cross-epochal and cross-national relevance of Ibero-Romance literatures and cultures, including their postcolonial relevance, and who therefore have strong connections to related disciplines such as History, Art History, and/or American studies. In addition, applicants are expected to be able to connect with the field of general literary studies (in terms of Literary Theory and Comparative studies) and to have expertise in the field of digitization as a methodological approach, research object, or editorial practice. Contribution to the interdisciplinary teaching and research profile of the Department of Languages and Literatures with its transversal programs at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral level is expected. In addition to the ability to teach in the target language at the highest level, the willingness to integrate courses in other languages (English, German) into the interphilological curriculum and to participate in them in an appropriate manner is expected.
