The Chemist is a technical contributor within the Machine Readable Features Laboratory, supporting the research, development, characterization, and validation of machine-readable features used for authentication and traceability applications. The role covers a broad portfolio of security technologies, including functional materials, pigments, inks, and associated measurement methods (optical, physical, chemical, and functional). The role involves diverse research activities, such as literature research, theoretical and experimental evaluation of new technologies and prototyping in close collaboration within the whole department. This position is well suited for an early career chemist seeking to work autonomously to further develop technical experience while gaining industrial experience. The position offers the potential to develop in a more senior technical role.
