Beschreibung

What you'll be doing Working alongside the Nano-fabrication Production Team Leader, you will execute nano-fabrication processes within EPFL's CMi cleanroom facilities to manufacture advanced SNSPD devices. You will be responsible for carrying out fabrication activities in accordance with established procedures, supporting quality control, maintaining accurate production records and contributing to process optimisation. Success in this role requires a positive, detail-oriented and results-driven approach, with a strong focus on collaboration across production and R&D teams.

Aufgaben

Perform nano-fabrication processes in a cleanroom environment, including lithography, deposition, etching and cleaning.
Maintain accurate production records, support quality control activities, and assist with troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the Nano-fabrication Production Team Leader, engineers and researchers to optimise fabrication processes.

Anforderungen

Bachelor's degree in Microsystems, Applied Physics, Microengineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.
2-5 years previous experience or training in micro or nano-fabrication within a cleanroom environment.
Familiarity with cleanroom processes and techniques such as optical lithography, electron-beam lithography, thin-film deposition, plasma etching or metrology.
A diligent, precise and self-motivated approach, with the ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently.
A strong interest in photonics, quantum technologies or advanced fabrication processes.
Fluent French is important, a good level of English would be an advantage.
