The Senior Director, Commercial Development is a senior commercial role, focused on accelerating growth across Lonza’s Advanced Synthesis platform. This position serves as a commercial expert in Small Molecules API manufacturing and plays a key role in executing strategic growth initiatives. The role combines deep CDMO and technical expertise with commercial leadership, supporting customer engagements, identifying new market opportunities and developing differentiated business models and offerings that strengthen Lonza’s position in the Small Molecules market. This is a highly collaborative and customer-facing role, working closely with Commercial Development, Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Operations, R&D, Site Leadership and the wider Advanced Synthesis leadership team.
