Your position Research projects of the group cover a broad range of topics ranging from molecular virology over mechanistic vaccinology to fundamental questions around virus – host relationship in persistent microbial infection. Accordingly the techniques applied comprise classical and cutting-edge molecular biological techniques, the engineering of viruses and their growth as well as characterization in cell culture and the assessment of immune responses in vivo in mice and ex vivo by multi-dimensional flow cytometry and serological assays. You will support the projects of experienced postdoctoral and doctoral researchers by contributing to the planning and execution of experimental work and by analyzing data. Additionally you will assume core responsibilities for the organization, maintenance and logistics of the lab.
