Key roles and responsibilities:
Be a strategic advisor to stakeholders (including senior management) on data privacy, AI, cybersecurity and technology law
Drive and continuously improve GDPR compliance (and related frameworks), flagging emerging risks early and proposing practical responses
Lead negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements (e.g., MSAs, tech and HR contracts), including DPAs and TIAs
Build and evolve data protection governance: policies, procedures, templates and decision-making frameworks that scale globally
Lead the legal response to data breaches and data subject requests, coordinating with relevant functions
Create and deliver privacy training and awareness that actually sticks and supports a privacy-by-design culture
Steer global privacy initiatives and act as an internal subject matter expert people want to involve early
Manage external counsel efficiently and serve as a key contact point for regulators/public authorities when needed

Exigences
↳Law degree and bar admission (Swiss bar admission a plus)
↳4–10 years of relevant experience (international law firm and/or in-house; financial services and/or tech exposure preferred)
↳Strong, hands-on knowledge of GDPR and privacy risk management in real-world business settings
↳Proven strength in drafting/negotiating technology and commercial contracts, including privacy and data transfer provisions
↳Confident judgment under pressure (e.g., incident response) with the ability to balance legal risk, urgency, and business priorities
↳Clear communicator who can simplify complex topics and influence decisions across levels and functions
↳Organised, pragmatic, improvement-minded—someone who leaves things better than they found them
↳Fluent English; German is an advantage
