Business Analyst As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping data-driven decision-making at VAT by translating business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications. You will work closely with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure that analytics solutions are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable value. You’ll be part of a global IT team spanning Malaysia, Switzerland, and Romania, collaborating across time zones and cultures. Your work will help ensure that every decision-maker at VAT has access to the right data and insights — at the right time and in the right format — to drive operational excellence and customer value.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI, including experience with semantic models and report building
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or other ERP systems and their impact on reporting and analytics
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms
• Exposure to visual communication standards such as IBCS
• Experience in conducting user trainings and supporting solution adoption including change management
• Hands-on experience working in an agile environment, applying Scrum methodology
• Microsoft Certification: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or similar
• Ability to take ownership, even when the decision requires navigating ambiguity and uncertainty
• Experience leading and mentoring others through periods of change
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, release, and post-delivery support
