↳A degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Data Management, or a related field.
↳At least 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data governance, including hands-on implementation and operation of a data catalogue (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Microsoft Purview, OpenMetadata, or DataHub).
↳Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple divisions and stakeholder groups.
↳Proven experience deploying, integrating, and running tooling in a complex, multi-source enterprise environment.
↳Solid understanding of metadata management, data classification, and data lineage.
↳Knowledge of data modelling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical) and data governance principles.
↳A proactive, proposal-driven mindset, with proven experience of identifying gaps and driving improvements through to adoption.
↳Strong stakeholder management and the ability to drive and sustain adoption across diverse business and IT teams.
↳Knowledge of the SAP data model, knowledge graphs, or graph-based metadata models is a plus.
↳Familiarity with LeanIX is preferred, or a strong willingness to learn.
↳Broad knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) is a plus.
↳Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environments is a strong advantage.
↳Fluent English required; German and French are a plus.
↳Readiness for occasional travel.
