Die Stelle ist in der Unit „QC mEMT Basel and Water Systems“ lokalisiert, die zur Abteilung QC Mikrobiologie gehört. Die Hauptaufgabe der Unit ist es, ein zuverlässiges und effizientes mikrobiologisches Umgebungsmonitoring für die produzierenden Bereiche am Standort Basel (Produktion von Wirkstoffen und Entwicklungsprodukten) sicherzustellen.
