**What exactly you will do here:**
* Lead the successful delivery of major application upgrade and transformation initiatives, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
* Own the technical leadership and lifecycle management of business-critical applications, driving stability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
* Partner with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and engineering teams to align priorities, resolve challenges, and enable effective decision-making.
* Drive modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and long-term sustainability.
* Lead and coordinate offshore engineering and support teams, providing direction, governance, and delivery oversight.
**What we're looking for:**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive experience leading software development and application management within the banking industry.
* Proven track record in delivering complex application upgrade, migration, or transformation programs and leading distributed teams.
* Strong expertise in enterprise applications, software development lifecycle, production support, release management, and modern engineering practices.
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with professional fluency in English.
