What you will move in this role:

• Development of technical concepts for diagnostic functions as well as for functions, requirements, and interfaces of our inductive charging system
• Evaluation and coordination of the impact of new diagnostic and system functions on the software and system architecture, in close collaboration with the Software Architect and other specialist departments
• Definition, maintenance, and alignment of system and software requirements, including creation and monitoring of the necessary verification and validation criteria
• Ensuring compliance with relevant norms, standards, and processes, especially ASPICE as well as charging‑ and safety‑related standards such as ISO 15118 and IEC standards
• Development of new diagnostic and system features, including derivation and maintenance of a function and product roadmap in coordination with project and product management
• Support of development and testing phases, including analysis and review of test results, as well as coordination with suppliers and internal interfaces to ensure series readiness
• What skills and experience you should bring:
• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the automotive software domain and at least 3 years of experience in automotive diagnostics
• Hands‑on experience with Infineon Aurix microcontrollers; ideally additional knowledge of STM32
• Solid expertise in AUTOSAR diagnostic components (e.g., DCM, DEM) and diagnostic protocols such as UDS and OBD
• Strong analytical and structured way of working, with excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills
• Team‑oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a self‑driven, proactive working style
