SOVAG (Sonderabfallverwertungs-AG) is a Swiss subsidiary of the Veolia Group that specializes in the management, collection, and disposal of special and hazardous waste.
Within this entity, the VIE will be a business partner of operations, working closely with the CFO, accounting and invoicing teams. The VIE will be based in Basel, with occasional travels to other sites (mainly the region of Luzern).
His/her main responsibilities will be as follows:
Perform analysis of monthly financial performance and explain the main variances versus last year and budget.
Support to develop dashboard and KPIs, for both finance and operations.
Ensure monthly reporting to the Veolia Group and associated analysis.
Support follow-up of Capex.
Participate in the improvement of finance processes and formalisation of procedures.
Work on ad-hoc missions with CFO.
Education
Bachelor or Master in accounting/management/ controlling/economic sciences.
A first experience of 2 years in audit, consulting, or more generally in the finance team of an industrial company would be a plus.
IT
Strong Excel knowledge, proficient in Word and PowerPoint or Google Suite, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Skills
Rigor, reliability, capacity to adapt to changes, team player, results oriented, dependable, able to take initiatives.
Languages
Fluent in German and English, French is a plus

Duration: 12 months
Compensation: 4 150,28 € net/month (according to the rates of July 2026)
Benefits : 30 days' leave per 12 months / Tax-free / French pension contribution. The PANGEO will not be provided with accommodation or transportation.
