Your tasks:
- Lead the setup and optimization of machine parameters at customer packing lines, ensuring optimal performance of our packaging films.
- Design and oversee retail pilots with packers and retail partners to validate performance under real-world conditions.
- Act as the senior technical point of contact for customers across the region, providing hands-on troubleshooting and support on-site and remotely.
- Channel field-level errors, technical issues, and customer feedback into R&D’s product development roadmap.
- Track spoilage rates and shelf-life performance across accounts, and present findings and business cases to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive new business development, identifying and converting new customer opportunities beyond the fresh produce category.
- Own and grow key customer accounts, building long-term, strategic relationships.
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in industrial systems, process engineering, or technical applications within sustainable innovation, ag-tech, or the fresh produce industry.
- Proven experience with fruit and vegetable shelf-life extension technologies, such as coatings or protective packaging.
- Track record of combining technical expertise with commercial development.
- Experience managing customer relationships and technical projects across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate field and quality data into actionable insights for customers and R&D.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, comfortable working across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
