The role
03Your Tasks:
- Engineer, operate, and continuously improve shared Kubernetes platforms based on Amazon EKS and Microsoft AKS
- Enable application teams to successfully deploy, operate, and scale their workloads on the platform
- Maintain and enhance a portfolio of platform add-ons and supporting services
- Gather, evaluate, and implement customer and stakeholder feature requests
- Drive automation initiatives following a GitOps-first approach
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Contribute to platform security hardening and security best practices
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and governance initiatives
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to advance a modern cloud-native platform ecosystem

Requirements
↳Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes in large-scale enterprise environments
↳Strong experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
↳Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation technologies such as YAML and ideally Golang
↳Strong understanding of GitOps principles and experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
↳Experience with Helm and/or Kustomize
↳Familiarity with cloud-native tools such as Argo CD, Kyverno, Karpenter, Cilium, Grafana, and related ecosystem technologies
↳Structured, independent, and delivery-oriented way of working
↳Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
↳Fluency in English and/or German
↳Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
