The role
03As a Technical Project Manager based in Lausanne for our MKS business, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team for New Product Introduction (NPI) - from Project definition up to the introduction in Mass Production (MP).
01Manage and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) development through the product life cycle process from concept to product delivery - apply project management standards.
02Lead the MKS strategic direction of ESW (Embedded Software) activities, ensuring seamless alignment and cross-functional integration between ESW, software, hardware, and design teams to deliver superior user experiences.
03Drive the practical application of AI/ML technologies by leading both the integration of intelligent features into device ESW and the adoption of AI-driven tools to optimize internal development workflows.
04Partner with Product Management, Hardware and Software Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver projects on time within defined expectations in terms of experience, cost and quality.
05Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Hardware and Software Engineering and Operations to explore and deliver the technical bricks for the needs of the roadmap.
06Lead and staff a project team - multi-functions and multi-sites (worldwide).
07Synthesize and present the project's stake in a comprehensive manner to help the team make decisions, make clear recommendations when needed.
08Report and communicate on a regular basis.
09Escalate when project goals are at risk.
10Identify, evaluate and escalate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate actions to control the risks and to drive solutions.
11Synthesize data and information related to scope or risks change.
12Collaborate with Functional Manager to improve project organization, efficiency (tools, processes) and time to market.
13Ensure that project activities operate within the policies and processes of the organization.
