The role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bioggio, Switzerland. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software to the client.
01Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications
02Proactively propose and adopt best practices and methodologies for test, including harnessing AI
03Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects
04Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
05Conduct performance testing and identify areas for optimization
06Work closely with project manager, development teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and issues
07Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability
08Support test environments issues to ensure testing can be completed on time (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
09Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies
10Adhere closely to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts
11Support and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage
12Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures
Requirements
↳University degree in Computer Science, or similar
↳Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience within the banking/financial services industry, especially in testing function
↳In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
↳Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English with an emphasis on client service and presentation
↳Must be an excellent team player and willing to share knowledge as well ad high level of stress management ability
↳Working knowledge of QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite
↳Strong analytical and problem-solving competences
↳Team player and strong client-orientation
↳Ability to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment
↳Experience with Avaloq banking system solution is a bonus
