The role

We are now looking for an Accountant to support our Finance team, someone who balances a detailed-oriented approach with the pragmatism required to thrive in a start-up operating at the forefront of cutting-edge technological advancements. We are operating in a fast-moving environment requiring an open-minded and adaptable mindset.
01A/P invoices and A/R invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
02Expense management (e.g., company credit cards, invoices etc.)
03Prepare timely and accurate P&L reporting for the Swiss entity
04Ensure accuracy, cleanliness and clarity of data, numbers and figures
05Take ownership of reporting, planning, budgeting and controlling within the Finance team
06Support company consolidation activities
07Coordinate external accounting partners for non-Swiss subsidiaries (incl. New York, London, Berlin and Singapore)
08Responsible for treasury management and associated tasks
09Ensure compliance with VAT, insurance requirements, local statutory obligations, etc.
10Administrative tasks for the Finance and People & Culture teams, as well as for general office management
Requirements
↳hands-on experience in accounting or financial controlling, ideally in a dynamic or growth-oriented environment
↳Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or a completed relevant commercial apprenticeship
↳Strong analytical capabilities: able to translate data into clear, accurate, and relevant insights
↳Proven entrepreneurial mentality: strong business-oriented decision-making skills with a balanced approach to speed vs. risk with a bias towards impact
↳Collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to build trust, communicate openly and effectively with stakeholders across levels and to collaborate across functions
↳Hands-on approach: pragmatic and “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality, handling adjacent tasks as needed (incl. operational & admin tasks)
↳Fluent in written and spoken & English (French and or Italian language skills are a plus)
↳Experience in a 'Treuhandbüro' (accounting company) is a plus
