Most Kickresume reviews are written by companies that sell a competing resume builder, which is worth knowing before you read any of them, this one included. We build one too.
So this review is built on things you can check yourself rather than on our impressions. The pricing comes from Kickresume's own pricing page, read on 26 August 2026. The user sentiment comes from its 3,831 Trustpilot reviews, read the same day, including the one-star ones. Where we could not verify something, we say so instead of filling the gap.
One correction up front, because it is repeated almost everywhere: Kickresume's plans are priced in euros, not dollars. Nearly every roundup we checked lists the annual plan as "$8/month". The pricing page says EUR.
The short verdict
Kickresume is a genuinely good document builder with a strong reputation, and its weak points are commercial rather than technical.
It holds 4.6 out of 5 across 3,831 Trustpilot reviews, with 75 percent at five stars. That is a real score from a real volume of people, and anyone telling you the product is bad is arguing with a lot of evidence. The template quality and the editor are the parts people consistently praise.
The complaints cluster somewhere else entirely: AI usage caps that bite mid-cycle on paid plans, refunds that people report struggling to get, and a free tier that is more limited than the words "free forever" suggest. If you are choosing a tool, those are the things to price in.
Kickresume pricing in 2026
Taken directly from the pricing page on 26 August 2026. Check it before you buy, because this is exactly the kind of detail that moves.
The paid plan is called Premium and is billed three ways. Yearly works out at 8 euros per month, charged as 96 euros once. Quarterly is 18 euros per month, charged as 54 euros every three months. Monthly is 24 euros per month. The gap between the yearly and monthly rate is three times, which is a large spread and the reason most published "Kickresume costs 8 euros" claims are describing the annual commitment rather than the price you pay to try it for a month.
There is also a separate human proofreading service listed at 26 euros per resume, which is not part of any subscription.
